  1. Hi Saadflyer,

I just returned two weeks ago from European Delivery of an S5. When I dropped off the car (in Zurich), I asked to keep the plates and they said they're no longer able to do this. They did not suggest leaving a note for Customs.

Did your plates arrive with the car or did Customs take them?

  2. Yes, they did. The dealership was kind enough to take the plates out and lock them up till we arrived to pick up the car (apparently they are souvenirs).

  3. hey Flyer, I spoke to a clueless dealership today in NH about the delivery program. I know this is a sensitive subject but did you manage to get the 5% discount that the web site mentions? Our dealer quoted us a full price. Considering that Mercedes, BMW, Volvo all give you 7% and 2 free tickets over AND take care of the VAT, Audi doesn't seem to be trying very hard.

  4. Exchanging Navigation systems Europe <--> USA:

I just brought a Q5 from USA to Europe. SAAdflyer or anyone who wants to bring a Q5 from EU to USA, do you want to exchange the module with the radio and navigation system? Mine has Sirius and USA&Canada maps.

  5. SAADFlyer-

Reade you blog with interst. We are interested in doing the same- can you tell me which dealer you worked with and what discount you negotiated. We were going to go to NH but given Kurts comments above maybe we'll try one of the MA guys. Thanks for your response tanyagio@comcast.net
